Filmmaker Celebrates Success with Colton Dixon

Filmmaker Eric Welch has a lot to celebrate in 2014. This summer kicked off as Welch received one of Country Music’s most prestigious awards, the 2014 CMT Music Video of the Year Award for Carrie Underwood’s hit single, “See You Again,” which currently has over 13.5 million views on YouTube. As this summer comes to a close, Welch’s work has also garnered three 2014 Dove Award nominations for Short Form Music Video of the Year.  The nominations include directing Toby Mac’s “Speak Life,” “Never Gone,” byAmerican Idol’s Colton Dixon and Mandisa’s “Overcomer,” featuring Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts, Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton and Biggest Loser Winner Hannah Curlee.
